BR-CO-04

Error (blocking) EN 16931 (UBL)EN 16931 (CII)

Official rule text

[BR-CO-04]-Each Invoice line (BG-25) shall be categorized with an Invoiced item VAT category code (BT-151).

What it means

Every invoice line must carry a VAT category code (BT-151). The UBL binding checks cac:Item/cac:ClassifiedTaxCategory/cbc:ID with cac:TaxScheme/cbc:ID = VAT; a line with no ClassifiedTaxCategory, an empty ID, or a TaxScheme other than VAT fires the rule.

How to fix it

On each line item add cac:ClassifiedTaxCategory with cbc:ID set to a UNTDID 5305 category (S, Z, E, AE, K, G, O, L, M) and cac:TaxScheme/cbc:ID = VAT; in CII set ram:ApplicableTradeTax/ram:CategoryCode in each line's SpecifiedLineTradeSettlement.

Business terms involved: BT-151BG-25
